Golden Tulip Hotel Worth $15 Million to Open in Autumn

GOLDEN TULIP 4-star hotel will be inaugurated in autumn 2021 on Ketevan Tsamebuli Avenue in Tbilisi.

As the project implementing company Block Invest’s executive director Tornike Janashvili told Business Partner, the greater part of construction works has been already finished and final details will be completed in summer 2021.

We could finish the project much earlier, but the hotel inauguration would be useless amid the pandemic. Foreign tourists have already intensified trips in Georgia and we expect a better situation in autumn, Janashvili said. Golden Tulip’s first brand hotel in Tbilisi will comprise 78 suites on 11 floors, as well as a terrace, conference hall, restaurant, lounge bar.

We remind you that the hotel’s inauguration ceremony was postponed several times, including, referring to financial conditions. The company management carried out the refinancing of the project, after which the project was financed by TBC Bank. The project’s investment value is $15 million, Tornike Janashvili noted.
