GNP Opens New Enterprise Increasing Company's Turnover to 1.5 Million GEL

The new enterprise of Georgian natural products will be launched in Tserovani in about 10 days. The company is investing 1.5 million GEL in the project of the enterprise.

As Ilia Zedelashvili, the founder of the company, told bm.ge, up to 70 tons of Tkemali will be delivered to the enterprise annually and the annual turnover of the company will increase to one and a half million GEL.

According to him, Georgian natural products of the new enterprise will increase the range from 20 products to 50. It is noteworthy that the company will employ an additional 20 people.

"The enterprise will be put into operation in about 10 days. We need to start getting the raw wood first. We will receive 70 tons of wood and the company's turnover will increase to 1.5 million. Now half of that amount. We have also increased the range under the new factory, by this time we have a total of 20 products and eventually, we will have 50. As for the investment, it amounted to 1.5 million GEL, we have great support for state programs," said the founder of GNP.

GNP products are sold not only in the local market but also in EU countries. Ilia Zedelashvili says that the United States will be added to the export countries in the near future.

"We are negotiating to enter the American market. At this point, our export share is 15%, and it will increase to 35% after entering the US. We have positive feedback from existing markets. Georgian taste is very popular in Europe," Zedelashvili explained.
