German Bock Holding Plans to Open a Sewing Shop in Kutaisi FIZ

German company "Bock Holding", which supplies products to international brands Hugo Boss and Marc O'Polo, plans to invest in the Kutaisi Free Industrial Zone and launch a sewing shop.

According to the agency, the amount of investment is not mentioned, but it is said that "Bock Holding" plans to open a sewing shop in the Kutaisi industrial zone and employ 350 people at the initial stage, which will increase to 1,500 in parallel with the development of the project.

The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili and the director of "Produce in Georgia" Mikheil Khidureli met with the director of the German company Dietrich Bock and his associates, where they discussed future business projects planned by the German holding in Georgia.

The holding also operates in Ukraine, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania and is interested in doing business in Georgia. "We saw very good conditions in the country. We like Georgia and, therefore, we are thinking of investing here," - said the director of Bock Holding.

"Introducing companies such as Bock Holding in Georgia is especially interesting in terms of increasing employment. When working with investors, it should always be our main task to employ as many people as possible on the best terms in order to increase the incomes of our population. I think this will be another successful investment that will contribute to Kutaisi economy, "Levan Davitashvili said after the meeting.
