Georgian Publishing Houses Present Children's Books at Bologna Children's Book Fair

Georgian publishing houses presented children's books at the Bologna International Children's Book Fair on March 21-24. Interesting meetings were also held with illustrators and writers.

The organizers of "Tbilisi - World Book Capital" reviewed the experience, challenges and results of the project and discussed the matters of the growing interest of foreign publishers in Georgian-language authors.

The exhibition organized by the Tbilisi Illustration Festival featured prints of about forty works by ten illustrators working in Georgia. Proceeds from the sale of the works will be transferred to the Ukrainian Crisis Relief Fund.

The UNESCO project "Tbilisi - World Book Capital" is one of the projects implemented with the support of the Bank of Georgia.
