Georgian Products: We Aim to Increase Exports to $ 70 Million by 2024

Georgian Furniture Company that produces furniture for pets, plans to increase its exports to $ 70 million by 2024 by implementing an annual sales growth plan.

The furniture company that exports local products to Germany, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Belgium, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. 

Davit Bardavelidze, the founder and director of the company said to BM.ge, that if Georgian Products was able to sell a product worth 90 million GEL in 2021 and this number exceeded sales by 33% by 2020, in 2022 the growth will be in the range of 30-40%.

"We plan to increase sales to 30-40% in the export markets in 2022. According to the plan written by 2024, we should increase sales to 70 million dollars, which at the current rate is about 217 million GEL. This is our plan and next year we plan to make certain investments in business development and expansion, which will increase the number of employees, "- said Bardavelidze.

The head of the company says that he plans to cover the export markets by increasing the volume of existing products, as well as adding new products.

"We want to start the production of pet toys. This project will need a $ 2 million investment in equipment alone. We also want to launch sewing factory. Work on the projects is underway now and we think the company will create another 100 jobs by implementing them, ”Davit Bardavelidze told BM.GE.
