Georgian Nuts and Snacks Company Qalaquri Plans to Open a New Factory in 2022

In 2022, the company "Qalaquri," a manufacturer of nuts and snacks, will open a new factory. 

Murad Ghoghadze, the founder of the company, explains to "Business Partner" that the project of building a new factory will allow the company to expand its range. In particular, they plan to produce churchkhelas, jams and natural juices.

According to him, the factory will be built in Tserovani. The area selection stage is currently underway. Once the design is complete, the company will begin construction of a new plant. The investment cost of the project is 2.5 million GEL.

The buildings will be located on 1000 square meters. Productivity through new state-of-the-art machinery will increase by about 60% in the first phase. The existing plant will process about 200 tons of nuts a year and 80-100 tons of dried fruits.

The company is currently in the process of finding finances. The company is considering both grant funding and participation in state programs.
