Georgia Set to Host the First Electronic Commerce Day

On October 25, "Sheraton Grand Metekhi Palace" in Tbilisi will be the venue for a conference organized by the Ecommerce Association of Georgia.

The objective of E-Commerce Day is to serve as a melting pot for both local and international firms. This gathering offers a unique platform for networking, sharing insights, and potentially forging future collaborations.

Prominent participants, including Amazon Pharmacy, Rakuten Viber, Glovo, Evido x Meta, and more, are slated to grace Georgia with their presence.

"As Georgia prepares to host its very first 'Electronic Commerce Day', we've set our sights high. Our vision is to bridge the gap between domestic and global giants, nurturing prospects for lasting partnerships, fortifying the e-commerce infrastructure, and spurring as many businesses as possible towards e-commerce expansion. We are optimistic about the turnout and hope to make this an annual benchmark event," shared Lado Kandelaki, the Chairman of the Ecommerce Association of Georgia.

Experts will shed light on the future trajectory of e-commerce, addressing hurdles, groundbreaking innovations, artificial intelligence, payment solutions, supply chain and logistics nuances, as well as drawing from their personal journeys in digital marketing.
