Georgia Purchases $43.1 Million Worth of Sugar in 9 Months
In the first 9 months of 2021, Georgia purchased 88,154.1 tons of sugar, for which $43.1 million was exported.
According to an official data, the value of the purchased product is 15.9% higher compared to the same period last year. However, 16.1% less sugar was imported with the same price, compared to 9 months of 2020. Therefore, the price of sugar has increased significantly compared to the previous year.
The price for sugar is increased in almost every major market.
