Gastronomic Academy to Open in Gurjaani Supported by Basque Culinary Center
Caucasus University and Basque Culinary Center signed a cooperation agreement in Gurjaani on Thursday. According to the agreement, the gastronomic academy of the Caucasus University will be opened in Kakheti in 2023-2024.
Negotiations with the Spanish party on the establishment of this center lasted for 3 years. Davit Songhulashvili, who heads the group with Spain in the parliament, was actively involved in the process.
Students at the gastronomic center will be taught by Spanish professors. The duration of the study, depending on the profile, ranges from 6 months to 2 years.
The school will receive 200 students annually, from Georgia and neighboring countries, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Armenia, Iran, the countries of Central Asia, Ukraine, and Russia.
