Five Sanatoriums in Tskaltubo Recognized as Monuments of Cultural Heritage

Five sanatoriums in Tskaltubo have been recognized as monuments of cultural heritage.

The Legislative Herald has published the decree signed by Paata Gaprindashvili, acting director-general of the National Agency for Protection of Cultural Heritage, under which the information on the monuments will be registered at the State Registry of Monuments. Namely: Tskaltubo Municipality: Sanatorium IVERIA, Sanatorium GELATI, Sanatorium IMERETI, Sanatorium MEDEA, Sanatorium METALLURGY, Tskaltubo N6 Spring Water Complex; Tskaltubo N8 Bath Complex, Tskaltubo Railway Building. Zugdidi Municipality: - Kadari Naokhvamuri We remind you that in October 2019, former Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili announced plans for buying off 22 hotels and 9 bath complexes in Tskaltubo.

“I have decided to lead the Tskaltubo revival project. I have decided to launch this project with my own resources and fully rehabilitate amortized tourism and wellness infrastructure and develop them in compliance with international standards”, Ivanishvili noted in 2019.
