First Premium-Class Hotel to Open in Mestia

The president of Toyota Center Tbilisi, Irakli Gurchiani opened a 5-star hotel in Mestia. The total amount of investment is $5 million.

Gistola will be the first premium-class hotel in the borough. The complex will receive guests in the coming days. Although the hotel will open in a few days, there are no tourists in Svaneti. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Irakli Gurchiani does not hope to work full time.

As general manager of the hotel, Maia Murachashvili noted, the hotel includes a nightclub, lounge, and children's entertainment center. "Gistola" will be the first to offer tourists nightlife in Mestia. Maia Murachashvili tells us that due to the difficult situation in the country, the prices in the hotel complex this year will be affordable for both middle and premium-class guests.
