Fastjobs – New Platform for Employing Jobseekers

The Fastjobs.ge platform has appeared on the Georgian market with the aim to help people, who have temporarily lost job places amid the coronavirus outbreak, in finding online job places.

The platform offers free of charge registration for both job seekers and employers.

BM.GE has interviewed the platform co-founder Sopo Tsiramua.

“We have developed this platform to assist the people, who have lost job places temporarily amid the coronavirus outbreak, however, any person can pass registration, both Georgia-based residents and emigrants. At the same time, employers can add job places and contact jobseekers themselves”, Sopo Tsiramua said.

AS for March 27, 330 persons were registered. At this stage, Fastjobs. Ge is conducting negotiations with about 70 companies.

The platform was established 2 days ago and several users have already found new job places. Special demand is reported for translation and social media jobs. The interest primarily comes from the people who have lost jobs in the tourism industry.

Simultaneously, the platform also offers financial and legal services, call center staff, virtual assistance, programmers, marketing and sales specialists.
