Export Stimulation Program of Enterprise Georgia has First 50 Beneficiaries

Aiming to diversify export markets and assist resolution of post-pandemic challenges, the agency developed a technical assistance component, which has been implemented since April 7 of this year.

The program aims to promote the growth of the export potential of small and medium-sized businesses, eliminate factors hindering export in companies, and introduce export stimulating mechanisms, through the following components: certification and licensing; branding/product packaging; access to international market chains.

The technical assistance program covers the following sectors: clothing, leather and leather goods, footwear, toys, compound feed for pets and birds, veterinary products, furniture manufacturing, jewelry and related goods manufacturing, packaging materials, food and beverage products (except wine). Only the component of entering the international network applies to agro-food products.

It should be noted that applications were received in the framework of the competition in a fully electronic format, on the agency's exporters' platform www.tradewithgeorgia.com, which ensured a high degree of transparency and reliability of the process. As a result of the competition, the Export Assistance Program has 50 beneficiaries.
