“European Union including 27 member states celebrates the 70th anniversary of the European Union - with the message "Stronger Together".

Through the effective implementation of reforms, an irreversible process of Georgia's integration with the European Union has begun, to which Georgia has historically strived. It is very important for Competition Agency of Georgia, to establish the principles of healthy competition, promote, strengthen and become a worthy member of the international family of competition. To achieve these goals, the EU-funded 3-year project - "Support to the Georgian Competition Agency" was implemented, the main object of which was - Institutional enforcement of the Competition Agency of Georgian following the provisions of the DCFTA and based on the best experience of the European Union, Improving existing legislation, increasing the productivity of the Agency's activities, raising the qualification of employees and awareness about competition policy and culture.

Promoting competition policy is one of the important foundations and opportunities for strengthening the economy, consumer welfare, and the protection of their rights. All the activities carried out within the framework of the project are a precondition for the Competition Agency of Georgian to take timely, effective, result-oriented steps and fulfill all the obligations related to the implementation of the competition policy.
