Danish DANFOSS to Open Technology Research Laboratory and Train Georgian Engineers

Danfoss, one of the world leaders in the field of machinery and equipment manufacturing, in cooperation with the Georgian Technical University, will open a laboratory for research in modern technologies and train Georgian engineers.

The training program will allow Georgian youth to get acquainted with and master modern technologies, while undergoing an internship in the enterprises of the Danish company "Danfoss".

According to the Minister of Economy, after the company learned that Georgia is implementing energy reform and the law on energy efficiency has been adopted, they expressed a desire to send their representatives in the near future and finance training for Georgian engineers before making a decision on investment and production.

"These staff may be employed by Danfoss in the future," Natia Turnava said after an online meeting with Danfoss top management.

According to the Minister, the representatives of the Danish corporation will visit Georgia and get acquainted with the economic and investment potential of the country.
