"Dalood" Café: A Fusion of Fashion and Gastronomy in Tbilisi
Georgian fashion brand "Dalood" has recently unveiled a unique venture in the Vera neighborhood, blending a café with a showroom to deliver a novel experience to its clientele.
This new venture, housed in a heritage building on Akhvlediani Street, represents a significant investment of over 600,000 dollars, culminating from two years of meticulous planning and design.
Maka Kvitsiani, the creative director and founder of "Dalood," shared insights on this innovative concept. "Our vision was to transcend the traditional clothing store model. We wanted to create a space that offers a distinct and unique experience, which led us to incorporate a gastronomic element into our showroom," she explained.
The "Dalood" café is a stylish area accommodating around 70 guests, showcasing a varied menu of contemporary European cuisine, some dishes being Kvitsiani's own culinary creations.
Currently, the café serves lunch and dinner and operates from 12:00 to midnight. Plans are in the pipeline to introduce a breakfast menu in the near future.
Kvitsiani further elaborates, "Our café is more than just a dining space; it's a versatile environment perfect for anything from business meetings to hosting international guests, showcasing the essence of Tbilisi. The bar is a highlight, offering an array of Georgian and European wines, the latter being a unique addition to Tbilisi's gastronomic scene. All of this comes at very reasonable prices, aligning perfectly with the ambience of our establishment."
"Dalood" café's blend of fashion and fine dining introduces a refreshing dynamic to Tbilisi's cultural and culinary landscape.
