Container Express Shipments within Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Begins
Within the frameworks of the project Turkuaz, container express shipments will be launched on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
According to the data provided by the agency "Trend", a new logistic route was elaborated by ADY Container, together with Georgian and Turkish partners.
Cargo will be transported in directions of Istanbul-Baku and Mersin-Baku. The company believes that the new project will increase cargo turnover on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
According to the general director of Georgian Railways, Davit Peradze, the contractor company names the end of 2022 as the date of commissioning of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
