Construction of Multficuntional Hotel Compex on Site of Telavi's Former Viticulture and Orchard Research Center to be Postponed

The construction of a multifunctional hotel complex on a site of the Telavi's Former viticulture and Orchard Research Center is temporarily stopped. As Givi Khitarishvili explains, the deadline for the resumption of construction is not determined yet.

The opening of a multifunctional hotel complex was planned for 2022. The project was prepared by the architectural company Studio 9.

The project also envisions the restoration of 40 hectares of vineyards and laboratories owned by the institute, 150-room hotel complex, and a museum.

According to Khitarishvili, the construction of the winery is planned in the future.
