Coca-Cola Interested in Expanding Production in the Region
Coca-Cola is interested in extending its production in the region and continues to invest in Georgia.
It was noted at a meeting of Michael Goltzman, Vice President of Coca-Cola with Giorgi Gakharia, Prime Minister of Georgia held within the scope of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos today.
Head of Government of Georgia was officially invited to the launch of a new production line of the company by the Vice President of Coca-Cola. It was noted that extension of production in Georgia creates more opportunities for employment and significantly contributes to the economic development of the country.
"Investment climate in Georgia is the key motivator for creation of additional production lines and extension of our business. We stand ready to continue cooperation with the Government of Georgia for advancing towards the circular economy. Coca-Cola system highly values its business in Georgia. We are very proud of over 200 people that we employ and continue investing in Georgia. Meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia was focused on the extension of our business and investments, implementation of new initiatives for sustainable development" noted the Vice President of Coca-Cola.
