Clubs Reopen from March 5-6 in Georgia
The club industry will reopen on March 5-6, despite the fact that the restriction of allowing 60 percent of the maximum possible number of guests in the clubs remains in effect.
The decision was made by the Interagency Coordination Council in the light of current epidemiological trends. The head of the government administration informed the head of the Georgian Culture and Creative Industries Union about the decision. Ilia Darchiashvili met with Giorgi Ghibradze, Chief of the Operational Staff of the Interagency Coordination Council at the David Lezhava Government Administration, and Nino Kvetenadze, Deputy Business Ombudsman.
The peak of Omicron variant spread has entered a downward phase, so it was thought possible to reopen nightclubs in March, given the situation's stabilization.
We would like to remind you that nightclubs in Georgia have been closed since March 6, 2021.
