Cinemas Resume Operation from April 1
According to the decision of the Coordinating Council, from April 1, cinemas will be permitted to resume operation by complying with regulations from April 1, 2021.
Georgian cinemas closed on May 18, 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Later, the Cavea network opened several Drive-In cinemas in Tbilisi.
Christopher Nolan's Tenet was scheduled to be shown in Georgian cinemas in the fall, but the premiere did not take place due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation.
