Chelti Wines to be on Sale in Arzak Restaurant in Spain

Chelti wines are already on sale in the 3-star Michelin restaurant Arzak, located in Spain.

According to Ilia Giorgadze, the Ambassador of Georgia to Spain, at a wine tasting held in the Basque Country two years ago, Georgian wine was approved by several Michelin-starred restaurants and their sommeliers. It was decided here that Georgian wine would definitely be included in the menu of their restaurant.

The negotiations were finished two weeks ago and Georgian wine is now included in the menu of Arzak.

Chelti Winery is located in Kvareli. The company produces half a million bottles of wine annually. Among the ten varieties of wine, one can also find such ancient types as Khikhvi and Kisi. The family runs the business and its founder is Giga Mirianashvili.
