Cheese Produced with Swiss-Georgian Technology to Appear on the Market from January

Production of cheese with Swiss-Georgian technology has started in Dmanisi. 4 types of cheese made according to the Swiss recipe will enter the sales network in January 2022.

The project is implemented by the Swiss Agrarian School "Caucasus", the founder of which is Mikho Svimonishvili, former Minister of Agriculture and owner of "Margebeli Holding". The project is being implemented by a businessman together with Swiss partners.

As school principal Tinatin Makharadze told Business Partner, the factory has already been put into operation and production has started. At the moment, the cheese is 4 months old.

As for the brand, it will be sold under the "Caucasus" trademark. "Cheese will be sold in niche stores at the initial stage, in the future cooperation with the HoReCa sector will be considered and a brand store will be opened in our own complex in Dmanisi," Makharadze said.
