Charles Rullo Expands Portfolio with New Product: Charles Rullo White
The Georgian chacha brand Charles Rullo, popularly known for its innovative approach in the spirits industry, has announced the launch of its latest product, Charles Rullo White. This addition marks a significant expansion of the brand’s offerings, which has been gaining popularity for its unique take on traditional Georgian chacha.
Levan Chikvaidze, the co-founder of Charles Rullo, shared insights into the brand's journey and its latest venture in an interview with "Business Partner." “Our journey began amidst the pandemic, though the seed for this venture was planted back in 2017. It took us about three years to perfect a unique recipe that redefines chacha. Our initial product, Charles Rullo Black, which is distinguished by its black carrot infusion, has already made its mark. The new Charles Rullo White, however, is a pure wine distillate, free from black carrots and additives, offering a distinct taste that's enjoyable on its own or in various cocktails," Chikvaidze explained.
Chikvaidze believes that Charles Rullo has the potential to make a bold statement in both the Georgian and international markets, drawing attention with its unique products. While export plans are on the horizon, the team is currently focused on establishing a strong domestic presence.
Charles Rullo, conceptualized by young entrepreneurs Levan Turdzeladze and Levan Chikvaidze, has been pioneering in introducing novel flavors to the chacha landscape. The brand's inaugural product, Charles Rullo Black, is currently available in select outlets like "Alcorium" and "Smuggler," as well as various bars and restaurants, priced at 42 GEL in retail stores, with varying prices in the hospitality sector.
Founded in 2020, Charles Rullo not only focuses on production but also operates a namesake bar, employing a total of 13 people. As the brand prepares to introduce Charles Rullo White to its discerning customers, it stands as a testament to the innovative spirit driving the modern Georgian chacha industry.
