Central Transport Hub to be built in Bakuriani - Project Cost 17 Million GEL

A central transport hub will be built in Bakuriani. Invitation for the tender The Municipal Development Fund has already announced that the estimated design-construction purchase is ₾17 million.

The hub will be funded by the World Bank under the Third Regional Development Project (RDP3).

The complex will be multifunctional, it will include parking and also services such as car wash, car maintenance and security booth for different types of vehicles. The office of Bakuriani Development Agency Ltd will also be located in the complex. Parking, services and adequate office space should be provided by the project.

The project area is 13,712 sq.m. and is located near the Bakuriani bypass road.

The tender application states that it is desirable for the office space to be located close to the road, at a lower level, in order to arrange both open and closed parking lots and services.

The bidder must meet the minimum qualification criteria, including the average annual construction turnover in the last 3 years must be at least 11,330 million GEL, the available annual capacity must be at least 8.5 million GEL, the bidder will have liquid assets and/or credit, other than contractual obligations. Also, the proof of access to the amount that can be realized under the contract is at least GEL 1.89 million.
