Business Association of Georgia Sets up New Committee

As decided by the supervisory board of Business Association of Georgia (BAG), a new committee has been established, namely the communications committee.

The body will be headed by Levan Buchukuri with a 15-year working experience in the field of top management chain. His is member of Silknet directorate. For many years he has supervised various directions of the company, while from 2011 to 2016 he was Silknet director general.

During his career, he has led various companies in telecommunication and other industries such as NOVBUS, TechnoService, IberiaTEL, Magitcom and Megacom.

As noted by BAG President Soso Pkhakadze, Levani’s essential experience in TELECOM field is a good precondition that the new committee will perform useful and effective job for Georgia’s telecommunication industry and provide fruitful cooperation with the regulatory body on legislative level and in terms of establishing new technologies.
