Biblusi Group Postpones Introduction of Dutch Company in Georgia Due to Russia-Ukraine War
Biblusi Group postponed the introduction of a Dutch company in Georgia due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
According to the director of the company, Irakli Gagnidze, implementation of the project was first delayed because of the pandemic, and now the Russia-Ukraine conflict has turned out to be a hindrance.
"This will be an international household brand, which currently does not operate in Georgia. Entry into our market has been temporarily delayed, however, negotiations with the said retail group are ongoing. Had it not been for the war, we might have been at a point where certain agreements would have been finalized and concrete steps would have been taken. The process of entering the British brand market has also been paused.”
Biblusi unites several companies, and one of them is the bookstore network, which is presented on the Georgian market since 2008.
Currently, the company has 67 branches in the country.
