Well-known berets manufacturing company RED has launched a new line – REDSTONE.
The company uses natural stones in ornaments. As RED company founder Tamar Machavariani told Business Partner, amid the pandemic, RED has decided to contribute to defeating the COVID-19 virus.
Therefore, the company launched a new line - handmade and hand-embroidered silk facemasks have become very popular. In the diverse assortment of RED company, summer plaited hats have become much more popular than berets throughout the season.
As noted by Tamar Machavariani, the company has included hand-embroidered dresses in GEO Fashion Lab, but the pandemic hampered the company to enter new distribution networks. The company continues online sales, but the management hopes that the pandemic ends soon and they are able to introduce their products into new networks. At this stage, the product is sent to regions by post; while in Tbilisi RED cooperates with several courier companies. “It is untimely to talk about future plans amid the pandemic, but RED plans to move to clothes line completely in the future ”, Tamar Machavariani noted.
