Alex Kobelashvili Appointed as New GM of Radisson Blu Batumi

Radisson Blu Batumi has a new general manager. Alex Kobelashvili will move from the Tsinandli estate to the Adjara region and head Radisson Blu Batumi and residential complex "Mtsvane Kontskhi Botanico".

Alex Kobelashvili joined the Silk Hospitality team in 2020, he has 13 years of experience in the hotel and restaurant business. For the last 2 years, Alex has held the position of general manager of Tsinandli Manor "Radisson Collection", and before that he was the operations manager of the same hotel.

"It is a great honor and responsibility for me to be the general manager of Radisson Blu Batumi, this hotel is a symbol of the city, the legendary Italian architect Michele Delucci worked on it and it has been managed by the best team for years. Batumi is my native city, I grew up here and I remember very well the opening of this hotel and how it positively affected the development of tourism in the city and the region as a whole. I am sure that together with my team we will achieve many more successes.

The hotel is one of the successful development projects of the Silk Road Group, which was opened in Batumi in 2011. Radisson Blu Batumi includes 2 restaurants, 3 bars, indoor and outdoor pools, modern conference rooms, spa and fitness center, Casino Iveria. The hotel is managed by Silk Hospitality.
