Agrarian Markets are Gradually Opening
Agrarian markets are gradually opening, - the National Food Agency reports.
The Agency, together with the self-governments, monitors the observance of safety rules and recommendations.
At the moment (as of April 30), 24 agrarian markets are functioning:
Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region - 3 agrarian markets (1 in Zugdidi, 2 in Poti);
1 agrarian market in Akhalkalaki in Samtskhe-Javakheti region;
In Adjara - 3 agrarian markets in Batumi (including one - fish market);
Kvemo Kartli region - 1 agrarian market in Marneuli;
3 agrarian markets in Tbilisi;
7 agrarian markets in Imereti region (Kutaisi-2, Zestaponi, Khoni, Samtredia, Sachkhere, Chiatura)
In the Kakheti region - 4 agrarian markets (in Telavi, Tsnori, Lagodekhi - 2);
Shida Kartli region - 1 agrarian market in Gori;
1 agrarian market in Guria region in Lanchkhuti municipality.
In addition to the above facilities, other agrarian markets are also expressing readiness to resume operations, which is being monitored.
