International Monetary Fund and Georgia's Government achieved an agreement to finally complete the sixth review of the current program in Georgia successfully and increase the sum total of program. This matter is written in the press release of the International Monetary Fund Statement on Georgia.
According to the information by International Monetary Fund, after the approval of the executive board, approximately $200 million will be available to transfer to Georgia's budget for fighting against COVID-19.
The organization stated, that increasing the fund of IMF will promote fulfilling the medical and social-economical needs instantly, attracting the finances of other donors, and the following progress.
As IMF evaluated, Georgia's government had made decisive steps to detain the virus pandemic.
