Georgian Wine Week Held in Hong Kong

''Georgian Wine Week '' was held in Hong Kong. The event, organized by Meiburg Wine Media, a contractor for the National Wine Agency, included seminars and tastings on Georgian wine.

Georgian Wine Week was attended by more than 400 guests: local wine importers, distributors, representatives of restaurants and wine bars, who had the opportunity to get acquainted with the products of 18 wine companies.

During the same event, LEPL Wine Agency and Meiburg Wine Media presented 13 small wine cellars to potential importers. Several of them have already deserved the attention of importers. The support of small wineries is especially important in the context of the Covid-19 virus pandemic, which, like other countries in the world, has affected the Georgian wine industry.

It should be noted that within the framework of the "Small Cellar Support Program" developed by the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, the Wine National Agency provides transportation of small cellars tasting samples to different countries.

In addition, Georgian wine seminars and tastings called "Georgian Wine Roadshow" were held in 3 more cities of the People's Republic of China: Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu. Wines of different names of 12 Georgian wine companies were presented at it.
