Georgian Wine Tasting to Held Online in the U.S.

Online degustation of Georgian wine was held in the U.S.

Up to 60 representatives of the media and wine trading field participated in the online event. 

The information is announced by National Agency of Wine.

"The wine-tasting was led by top sommelier Taylor Parsons. He introduced the participants to Georgian wine, its history, and its culture.

The participants of online degustations were able to taste 6 types of wines from different regions of Georgia, which were sent to them in advance.

From Georgia, the founder of Iago's Wine, Iago Bitarishvili participated in the degustation.

The online wine-tasting event was financed by the National Agency of Wine and organized by the contractor of them, American marketing company Marq Energie Consulting.

The United States of America is a strategic market for Georgian wine, where exports have been growing steadily for the last five years.
