Five Georgian Wines that Won Sommeliers Choice Awards 2021

Five Georgian wines have won an international award. Namely, four wine varieties of Askaneli Brothers company have won Sommeliers Choice Awards 2021

• Saperavi – 90 points – Golden Medal

• Mukuzani – 87 points – Silver Medal

• Muza – 87 points – Silver Medal

• Tenturie – 81 points – Silver Medal As for the fifth wine, Aleksandrouli of Bimbili – Itsis Marani scored 86 points and deserved Silver Medal.

The jury of prominent sommeliers transmits Sommeliers Choice Awards to unique wines on annual basis. Any winemakers are welcome to submit their wines to Sommeliers Choice Awards after the preliminary presentation. At the competition, each product scores corresponding points and the number of points determines the degree of Medal (Double Golden, Golden, Silver, and Bronze Medals).
