American Media Platform SOMM TV Producing Documentary Film on Georgian Wine
With the organization and financial support of Georgia’s National Wine Agency, a film crew from the American media platform SOMM TV visited Georgia to produce a documentary dedicated to Georgian wine.
During their visit, SOMM TV representatives attended the National Wine Day celebrations held on May 8 and visited wineries in the Kakheti and Kartli regions. The crew explored Georgia’s centuries-old winemaking traditions, unique wine culture, and the modern development of the country’s wine industry.
The one-hour documentary is scheduled to premiere during the summer on SOMM TV’s broadcasting platform, YouTube channel, and social media channels.
Showcasing Georgia as one of the world’s oldest winemaking countries through SOMM TV’s highly regarded programming is expected to significantly contribute to increasing awareness of Georgian wine and supporting sales growth in the strategically important U.S. market.
