Tourists will be Provided with 9 Tourism Information Centers in Adjara This Summer
Employees of Tourist Information Centre received training in order to strengthen the offered service. The training consisted of theoretical and practical lessons, for instance, effective communication, the influence of psychology in communication, specifics of effective service, basic principles of selling, etc.
Chairman of the Adjarian Tourism Department, Sulkhan Glonti met the participants of the training and discussed the relevance of Information Centre Services.
"We have nine Tourism Information Centres in the region, where tourists can have information about tourist products, attractions, cultural and entertaining events. During the year, the center serves 100,000 visitors. In the current year, according to 5 months of documentation, the number of visitors increased by 25% compared to the past year. After opening the summer season, the centers near Boulevard and cable will work for 24 hours. Apart from this, tourists can have an opportunity to use tourist routes, maps and sponsored materials for free. This will simplify their trip.", Sulkhan Glonti declared.
