Qvevri Expands to Batumi: “Colonnades by Qvevri” to Open with Grand Celebration on July 5
A new branch of the Qvevri restaurant—Colonnades by Qvevri—is set to open in Batumi on July 5. The venue, designed to accommodate 400 guests, will launch with a grand event on Batumi Boulevard.
The Batumi location introduces a distinct and refined concept, with an investment of approximately 1 million GEL. Situated in Old Batumi, near the iconic colonnades, the restaurant aims to offer a blend of traditional Georgian ambiance with enhanced European elements, setting it apart from the original Tbilisi branch.
The new space will feature both open terraces and an indoor hall, along with an open kitchen where guests can observe food preparation. Ingredients will be sourced from local farmers, particularly from the Imereti region, reinforcing the brand's commitment to quality and locality.
The opening celebration promises to be a highlight, with a live performance by the band “Ursa” on a specially arranged boulevard stage. Guests will also be treated to Adjarian cuisine, and the menu will include a wider variety of fish dishes compared to the Tbilisi location.
In addition, a new customer experience element will be introduced, inspired by local summer traditions. A dedicated hostess will interact with guests, learning what they’ve been drinking and suggesting appropriate "treatments" to help them recover—infusing a theatrical and personalized touch to the visit.
Qvevri continues to define its niche through a combination of live music and high-quality cuisine made with premium ingredients. The restaurant remains focused on constant development and delivering a memorable, elevated dining experience.
