Regulations Applying Visitors to Georgia after Resumption of Flights

The conditions of entry of foreign citizens to Georgia are partially known.

As Amiran Gamkrelidze, the head of the National Center for Disease Control, stated after the meeting of the Coordination Council today, people who have both doses of COVID vaccine will easily enter Georgia. As for the rest, they are required to submit a PCR test at the border. As Gamkrelidze stated, at this stage the discussion is going on whether these people will be required to do an additional PCR test in a few days or not.

"Basically, the regulations will be that people who are twice, ie fully vaccinated, will not need anything. For the rest, a PCR test of the last 72 hours will be required. We are discussing whether certain repetitions will be needed in the future," Gamkrelidze said.

We would like to remind you that from February 1 it will be open for regular flights to Georgia.
