Georgia Earns USD 1.05bn from Tourism in Q4 2025, Revenues Up 9.2% Year-on-Year

In the fourth quarter of 2025, Georgia generated USD 1,052.4 million in revenues from international travel, marking a 9.2% year-on-year increase, according to official data.

Overall, tourism revenues for the full year 2025 amounted to USD 4,690.2 million, representing an annual growth of 6.0%.

During Q4 2025, European Union countries accounted for 13.8% of Georgia’s international travel revenues, totaling USD 145.2 million. This figure reflects a strong 26.6% increase compared to the same period last year.

The fastest growth in tourism revenues was recorded from Israel and Azerbaijan, with year-on-year increases of 37.0% and 31.6%, respectively.

In contrast, revenues from Russia showed a declining trend. In the fourth quarter of 2025, income generated from travel from Russia to Georgia fell by 23.7% compared to the same period of the previous year.
