Find Out Which Countries Are Welcoming Georgian Tourists Now
Georgian passport holders saw an ever-changing list of overseas travel alternatives for much of 2021. We wanted to find out where Georgians can travel without having to go through quarantine or self-isolation.
Some of the countries will allow visitors regardless of vaccination status, but most of them would only let you cross the border after 14 days when you are fully vaccinated.
Most common vaccines allowed are BioNTech-Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnon and Johnson, Sinopharm, Sinovac and Sputnik V.
A citizen of Georgia can travel to the following countries for any purpose, including tourism:
Europe:
Most European countries require the proof of a full course of covid-19 vaccination.
Austria
Albania (regardless of vaccination status)
Spain
Estonia
Iceland
Moldova
Montenegro
Poland
Serbia (regardless of vaccination status)
Armenia (any vaccine)
Switzerland
Croatia
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Turkey
Lithuania
Netherlands
Romania
Ukraine
Hungary
Finland
North America:
USA (Note: Georgian citizens who do not have legal residency in the United States will not be able to enter the United States if they have been in the Schengen area of Europe for the past 14 days (even in transit), as well as the United Kingdom and Ireland, Brazil, China, Iran and South Africa).
Canada (fully vaccinated only)
Asia:
United Arab Emirates (it’s allowed to travel once a citizen obtains the visa)
Jordan (fully vaccinated citizens)
Iran
Maldives (PCR test only)
Mongolia (any purpose if you obtain visa)
