Statuso -First Digital Business Card Startup Launches in Georgia
The first digital business card startup will be launched in Georgia soon, which will create contactless cards using NFS technology and will give users the opportunity to share personal contact information digitally.
Irakli Shonia, the founder of the startup, told BM.GE about the news and noted that Statuso was created to share contact information, simplify networking and save time.
"Our goal is to replace paper business cards - exchanging contact information is quite a difficult process, business cards are often lost, you don't have them with you at the right time in the right place, etc. Statuso gives the opportunity to save time and take care of the environment. This method has been tested internationally, so we decided to bring this digital innovation to Georgia as well.
It's a card with a QR code on it, and by either scanning it or simply bringing your phone close to it, the owner's name, surname, phone number, email, website, company name and address, etc. will pop up. which you can save automatically, and if you wish, it will be possible to go to the company's website.
As for the design of the card - in addition to the standard one, it will be possible to create a branded one with the company's logo, their fee will be different - standard 15 GEL, and branded 45-50 GEL", - says Irakli Shonia.
The founder of Statuso shares that before the new year, the website of the startup will be launched, where the cards will be available for purchase, and in the future it will also appear in physical spaces.
According to his information, the interest is already quite high, because this simplified process is profitable for all companies and individuals both in terms of saving time and money.
As for the investment required for the startup, Irakli Shonia does not specify the exact amount, but notes that Statuso will be fully launched with the personal investment of the founders, and 5 people are involved in this process, although additional staff are planned to be hired after the start of operation.
We remind you that Irakli Shonia is the executive director of "AI Development", the managing partner of "PMCi" and one of the winners of Forbes 30under30.
