Irakli Sarava of the Capstone Group Joins Georgian Startups in Silicon Valley

The Capstone Group (“CG”), a partner of Georgia’s Technology and Innovation Agency has announced that it is joining four startups Payze, Cardeal.ge, Cargon, Agrolabs from 500 Startups Accelerator Program during their visit to Silicon Valley.

The program has been running in Georgia since 2020. It is hosted by Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency (“GITA”) and supported by the Bank of Georgia. During the visit to Silicon Valley, CG is represented by its founder and a managing partner, Mr. Irakli Sarava. The startups have been given an outstanding opportunity to visit Silicon Valley where they have completed an intensive accelerator stage of the program followed by the Demo Day. In the framework of the Demo Day, startups have been given an opportunity to pitch their ideas to more than 50 venture investors from Silicon Valley and San Francisco.

As a partner of Georgia’s Technology and Innovation Agency, CG will support Georgian Startups throughout this process. CG is a boutique management consulting firm and it counts Investors and Startups Advisory service amongst one of the main directions which is why it aims to facilitate the generation of both private and commercial interest towards an ecosystem of startups in Georgia.

CG acts as a mediator between potential local/international investors and startups, assists Georgian startups at all stages of their journey, provides introductions between local and international investors with a view to sharing experience, best practices, and expertise.

Through his international background and experience of working across various jurisdictions and industries, Irakli has accumulated a significant pool of connections that includes global experts, institutional investors, angel investors as well as startups in Georgia and internationally and for this reason, he often acts as a negotiator between different stakeholders and ensures that best practices and experiences are exchanged between Georgian and international stakeholders.
