Interacting with our Favorite Fairy Tales with SIA's Finalist ''Virtual Story''

''Virtual Story'' lets readers immerse themselves in a virtual world, become an integral part of an unfolding story, and enjoy a full sensory experience.

Miranda Namicheishvili, the founder of "Virtual Story," has always had a passion for reading and playing video games. She has daydreamed about alternate versions of her favorite book stories since childhood, asking herself, "What if this or that happened differently?" After graduating from college, she entered the field of film directing and began to produce her own screenplays and movies. The inspiration starts from here:

"Virtual Story's idea came to me during the epidemic when I began to learn a little bit of programming. I read books and used the computer during the day because I was unable to go outside. I hadn't initially thought of this idea as a startup, but I came across some options online for startup accelerators. My friends Anano and Vazha and I started experimenting after I told them about my idea,'' says Miranda at CBW.

For Virtual Story founders, the main goal is to promote Georgian folk fairy tales and other cognitive literature, which, in their opinion are brilliant, thus underrated, and lack popularity. They want to grow as a company, so they can provide high-quality digital books for all kinds of literature lovers worldwide.

''It’s a fun process creating a virtual story, especially voicing the characters and writing background soundtracks. But, the most fun part is sharing our work with people and seeing their reactions. Children, as well as adults, have enjoyed our first ‘Virtual Story’ a lot and gave us important feedback,'' said the founder of Virtual Story.

Virtual Story has hit a big milestone yesterday, they have been announced as one of the winners. They share the key to success, which is always looking for a way to make your idea more valuable and having the intention to grow and develop it.

Currently, the app is ready to be tested by potential users. For the next steps, the startupers are going to make more fairy tale-based stories, with more functions and diverse scenarios, both in Georgian and English versions.
