GITA Hackathon Revealed Winner of ghVINOton

The winning team of ghVINOton was revealed in Gurjaani Technopark. Their project "Refrigerant Stirrer" involves the automation of stirring during the fermentation process when putting wine in a pitcher. The winning team was awarded 5000 GEL.

Innovative project was implemented by ghVINOton GITA and Gurjaani Technopark in cooperation with Gurjaani Municipality. ghVINOton aims to research problems/challenges in the wine sector and use innovative methods and technologies to solve them and create a specific product. The event also helps to connect companies and organizations involved in the project with each other and stimulate business relationships between them.

The hackathon was held in Gurjaani Technopark and during the event the participants had the opportunity to use the services of the high-tech equipment presented in the Fablab for free and the common workspace.

The winner of ghVINOton was revealed by a commission specially invited for the project, which was composed of winemakers: Paata Jokhadze, Lado Uzunashvili, Nino Korkotashvili, Ivane Nareklishvili and Chateau Mukhrani Brand Ambassador Giorgi Chikvaidze.
