Georgian Tech Startup Self.HR Expands into the Uzbek Market

The Georgian tech startup Self.HR, known for its comprehensive All-In-One HR system operated on a SaaS model, has successfully expanded its operations to Uzbekistan. The startup's foray into the Uzbek market began with the successful implementation of its system at Agat Credit, a microfinance company in Uzbekistan.

Anastasia Abakelia, Self.HR’s Business Analytics and Implementation Manager, spearheaded the implementation process on-site in Tashkent. Agat Credit now independently utilizes all the HR modules offered by Self.HR.

Since entering the Uzbek market in February 2024, Self.HR has taken significant steps to ensure data security by hosting its server infrastructure on secure cloud servers located in Tashkent. The company has also established partnerships with several major local organizations.

Self.HR is actively pursuing expansion beyond Uzbekistan, with ongoing negotiations across the Eurasian region. While currently serving Uzbek companies from Georgia, Self.HR is preparing to bolster its local presence with a new branch in Tashkent slated to open in October.
