Georgian Medical Engineers Double the Resource of Respiratory Equipment
Georgian medical engineers have doubled the resource of a respiratory equipment.
“In the event the country lacks artificial respiratory equipement, one device may be used for 2 patients’, the statement reads.
We remind you that the artificial respiratory equipement is vitally important for patients infected by coronavirus virus.
The video material demonstrates results of the primary testing and the method requires additional tests. As noted by medical engineers, the testing has showed that the equipements may be applied for 2 patients with both identical and different sizes of lungs. The engineers express hopes that the country will not have the necessity to use the new device.
It is noteworthy that this method is used in various countries of the world and it does not represent an innovation of Georgian medical engineers.
