Video Conference to be Held within the Framework of Campaign "6 Years of Association for Georgia"
At the initiative of the European Integration Committee of the Parliament of Georgia and the NATO-EU Information Center, the digital campaign "6 years of association for Georgia" continues.
As part of the campaign, three competitions for young people are underway with supporters: online public debate for schoolchildren, an essay competition for students, and a research project competition for students as well.
On June 9, at 17:30, an online panel discussion will be held on the official Facebook page of the European Integration Committee of the Parliament of Georgia for the participants of all three competitions and for those interested. During the discussion, the speakers will discuss the specific results that the country has achieved with the entry into force of the Association Agreement, including the DCFTA.
The discussion will be addressed by Davit Bujiashvili, Director of the European Union's Assistance Coordination and Sectoral Integration Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lasha Inauri, Head of the Primary Structural Unit of the European Integration Department, and Marika Gabunia, Head of the Foreign Trade Policy Department at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
An online panel discussion will be held as part of the 6 Years of Association for Georgia campaign, implemented by the European Parliament's Integration Committee of Georgia and the EU-funded NATO and EU Information Center. With the support of the Adenauer Foundation.
At this stage, the contestants are being registered for the essay and research projects competition, in which students of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral educational programs of Georgian higher education institutions or groups of students can participate. There is also a selection of contestants for online public debate, in which public school students can participate, above ninth grade. The theme of the competition is "6 years of association for Georgia" and the winners will be symbolically announced on June 27, the 6th anniversary of the signing of the Association Agreement.
