Ukraine is the Focus of This Year’s Tbilisi Storytelling Festival

ZEG Tbilisi Storytelling Festival, founded by Impact Hub Tbilisi and Coda Story, is the first international storytelling festival in the region.

Zeg is the Georgian word for ‘the day after tomorrow,’ and that’s what the festival is all about: finding and telling the stories that matter for the day after tomorrow.

Due to the events of the current year, this year the focus of the festival is the war in Ukraine and its impact on the world.

‘’This year, our future suddenly took an abrupt turn—with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. And so we are holding a special ZEG focusing on the ripple effects worldwide.

Where is the world headed? What are the stories and narratives we should pay attention to? And how should we respond?

Come to ZEG for a thought-provoking, 360-degree discussion with the people telling Ukraine’s story now,’’ reads the post by the organizers.

The event will be held on October 15 at the Stamba Hotel.
