"The Cosmophony" - Solo Exhibition of Mariam Odiashvili

Mariam Odiahvili’s solo exhibition “The Cosmophony” will be held in Gamrekeli Gallery on June 17.

The title of the exhibition is in correlation with the sound in the space and emphasizes micro spaces and dimensions which exist in artworks.

Mariam Odishvili has studied painting at Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and at the High school of arts in Paris.

“The Cosmophony” is Mariam’s first solo exhibition, but she has participated in several projects and group shows in Georgia and abroad as well. One of the most important experiences was participating in the exhibition, which was held in the frame of Venice 57-th international Biennale, also she has worked as an intern in Biennale’s pavilions “Palazzo Mora” and “Palazzo Bembo” and was exhibited among the outstanding artists.

The exposition consists of almost 15 paintings, which were made in the last two years. Mainly conceptual artworks from the exhibition, somehow are the transformation of the emotions and events, most of the works are the compositions in the space, where is an alternation between the real and the imaginary.
