The Christ of Nanjing by Natia Bunturi
Tbilisi Contemporary Dance Festival 2021 presents the winner of this year's choreographic contest - “The Christ of Nanjing”.
Choreographic performance is based on Ryunosuke Akutagawa’s novel, whereas Akio Yashiro's Piano Sonata is the background music, along with Ayumi Ueda's “Sakura, sakura” - Japanese traditional folk song.
The choreographer/Dancer is Natia Bunturi.
The project is supported by Tbilisi City Hall.
Partner of the project is Silk Theatre.
